Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and security-focused DevOps Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a production-grade, on-prem-ready infrastructure stack. This role focuses on supporting enterprise-grade open-source deployments for regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, and government.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy secure, containerized infrastructure using Docker and Podman (rootless, daemonless)
- Orchestrate microservices with Kubernetes (K8s) or OpenShift
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
- Configure persistent storage via NFS, HDFS, or Ceph with Rook
- Set up centralized logging/monitoring using Prometheus + Grafana, ELK Stack, or Graylog
- Integrate LDAP, AD, or SSO for authentication and RBAC
- Configure NGINX or Traefik as a reverse proxy with SSL support
- Collaborate with security/compliance teams to ensure audit-ready environments
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with Docker, Podman, Kubernetes
- Familiarity with OpenShift is a plus
- CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitLab
- Knowledge of NFS, HDFS, Ceph
- Hands-on with observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Graylog
- Integration experience with LDAP, AD, SSO
- Expertise in NGINX or Traefik configuration
- Scripting proficiency in Bash, Python, or Go
- Comfort with air-gapped or isolated infra environments is desirable
